NOBLIT CEMETERY

South of Minor Hill

Bell Tower

The Noblit Cemetery Announcement Bell was sounded to alert the community of a death and brought help to dig the graves. It was originally in a crude wooden tower. The bell was stolen one time and recovered from a scrap iron dealer. The present tower was built and the bell reinstalled in 1990.
