1910 Census Images

Here's some information about the census images which might help you answer questions that visitors could ask (like "how do I find the page number I want?", "why are some page numbers missing?", etc.)

The 1910 Giles County, TN, Census contains 684 pages (census images)in Enumeration Districts 15 through 31.

Pages 23-01B and 38-11B were not copied from the microfilm, as they are blank. The handwriting is very faint and difficult to read on the microfilm for many of the pages in ED 32 (especially pages 32-02B, 32-03B, 32-04B, and 32-09B), ED 35 (especially pages 35-01A, 35-10A, and 35-10B), and ED 38 (especially page 38-12A). In ED 22, pages 22-15A and 22-15B are in reverse order on the microfilm; in ED 30, pages 30-01A and 30-01B are in reverse order; and in ED 37, pages 37-02A and 37-02B are in reverse order on the microfilm.

The name of each image file is the page number. (In the case of 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 census, the file name includes both the Enumeration District and the page number.)
