Registered the 18th day of May 1831

This Indenture made and entered into this twenty third day of November One thousand eight hundred and thirty between James K. Murrah William T. Gamble Amos B. Murrah of the one part all of the County of Limestone and State of Alabama & J. C. Hastin of the County of Giles & State of Tennessee of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained grants sold and delivered and by these presents doth bargain grant sell & deliver unto Joseph C. Hastin a certain lot or parcel of land being lying and situate in the County of Giles and state of Tennessee and in the town of Upper Elkton & No. 47 Forty Seven on the plat of said town as will fully appear by reference to __ plot as recorded in the clerks office in the town of Pulaski. To have and to hold the same to the only proper use and benefit of him the said Hasten his legal heirs or assigns forever & we the said James K. Murrah William T. Gmble Amos B. Murrah do agree to & with the said Hastin to warrant & forever defend against the right title interest claim or claims of all and every other person any persons In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seals the day and date first above written.
