Registered the 6th day of November 1815

This Indenture made this seventeenth of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fourteen, between Alexander McDonald of the County of Giles and the State of Tennessee of one part and William New, of this County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnessed that the said Alexander McDonald, for and in consideration of the some of one hundred and eighteen dollars to him in hand paid by the said William New the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, both given granted bargained and sold by these present, doth give grand, bargain and sell unto said William New, his heirs or assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, situated, lying and being in the County of Giles and the State aforesaid containing one hundred acres of land more or less on the waters of Bradshaw Creek, butted and bounded as follows to wit) Beginning at a white oak and iron wood said white oak letters WN running thence west 145 to a small ash and plum tree in the east boundary of Polks survey of 5000 acres, Thence, south with his line 110 1/3 poles to a box elder and a small elm, thence East one hundred and forty five poles to large beech , thence north 110 1/3 to the beginning, together with all and singular, the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and rents issues thereof and in every part, thereof that said McDonald doth truly warrant, and forever, defend, the aforesaid tract of land from himself, his heirs, assigns Executors, Administrators forever and in case the said land should be lost, the above bound McDonald doth bind himself on the self same day to pay said William New, One hundred dollars in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of June One Thousand and eight Hundred and fourteen.
