Mrs. W.J. Williamson, nee Rebecca Ann Harris, born in Tenn., Jan. 17, 1846; married May 12, 1880, to W.J. Williamson; moved with him to Texas in 1881, settling in Dallas County; moved to Bellevue in the fall of 1895. To this union was born three children, two of whom died in childhood, Mrs. Marietta lewis, of Electra being the only surviving child.

Mrs. Williamson has been a good mother to her husband's six children by his first marriage, all of them being small when she married their father. Their devotion to her in her illness and death attesting their love for her.

She was converted at Bear Creek Church, Tennessee, when she was about 16 years of age, uniting with the ME Church, South, living a beautiful consistent Christian life through all the years. ......She died at the family home in Bellevue, Dec 28, 1915, at 5Pp.m. Rev. F.A. Crutchfield, of Henrietta, her former pastor, preached the funeral the Methodist Church Wednesday, interment in our cemetery. Our sympathy to the bereaved. Pall bearers--L.S. Spivey, Sep Arnold, Sie Lippencot, J.M. Nichols, W.F. Wright, W.F. Mannine.

Note: Marriage certificate of W.J. and Rebecca Ann shows May 11, 1880. The children of William & Rebecca were: Judith Elizabeth (d at 4 years), Andres ( d at 11 months) and Maryetta who survived.
