Bob and Viva Townsend

at the Big Spring in the north end of Pulaski.

Bob Townsend was born Nov. 3, 1890 to Jackson and Jennie Goodman Townsend and died Feb 28, 1971. Viva Lee Boyd Townsend was born Feb 2, 1895 to David Peter and Mary Jane Boyd Kincaid and died April 29, 1986. They are buried in Noblet Cemetery, not far from their home and Puncheon School where they both taught. Beside being a teacher, Bob was a leader in the community, a farmer, dairyman, and an elder in the Puncheon Church of Christ.

The big spring is now a park in Pulaski.
