Charles D. Hale & Wife vs Rutha Springer & Others

William Springer was Granted 200 acres of land on Puncheon Camp Branch of Sugar Creek in the 4th District of Giles County by Land Grant #19152 signed by Governor Neil S. Brown. Land Grant included in this case. Much of this case is missing, too much to make family connections. I will write what I think is right. William Springer had four children: (1) Hester, deceased, left three children; Ephriam Webb, child by a former husband, Elizabeth J. wife of Charles D. Hale, and Aaron Springer, a minor,(2) Rutha, (3) Nancy, and (4) Jonas Springer. The Guardian of Aaron Springer was Jonas Springer. Guardian Bond issued in Lawrence County, Tennessee. William B. Hall and Jacob Springer signed Bond as Securities. Tyree R. Yates and Anderson Hogan gave depositions.

William Springer died testate but no Will been found in Giles County Court House.
