D. H. Parsons vs. R. R. Reed & als

Complainant D. H. Parsons showed to the Court that on May 26, 1883 he recovered a Judgement against the Defendant R. R. Reed. On May 28, 1883 he recovered another Judgement against R. R. Reed and wife Annie L. Reed. The Complainant stated he had no means of collecting the debts except in the following manner. In 1881 Levi Reed, the father of defendant, died, intestate. He left a widow and four children. R. R. Reed qualified as his Adminstrator. At October Term 1881 County Court and was then engaged in winding up his estate. There were but few debts against estate except funeral expenses and those had been paid leaving about $3,000.00 cash assets and R. R. Reed as one of his Distributees was entitled to one fifth of that amount. David H. Parsons asking for an Attachment levied on the share of R. R. Reed in the estate of his father Levi Reed, deceased.
