This same book lists the following members of this Shannon family as joining this church: Alexander 1849, Eleanor 1850, James 1850, W. N., 1850, and William 1849.

Affidivate: I certify that Robt. Shannon served a tour of duty in my company of mounted gunmen in the service of the United States against the hostile Creek Indians commencing the 24th Sept, 1813 and was wounded on the 3rd November following and permitted to return home.
