Will of Carey Gilbert
I, Carey Gilbert, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made. First I direct that my funeral expenses and my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my executors.
Secondly I am due my children the amt not known but will find it in the Chancery Court at Pulaski on a house and Lots I sold in Pulaski Tenn and never have settled with them. I want it known.
Third sell every thing belonging to me or my Estate as the law directs.
Fourthly I want all my children to show and ? alike and of my wife Betsy should out live me to have a ? part after all debts and the claim above is paid in the Chancery Clerk office at Pulaski.
Last I do hereby nominate and appoint Thomas Reed and Dr. L.L. Gilbert by executors mutual I do to this my will set my hand this 23rd January 1891.
