WILL ON RECORD GILES COUNTY, TN

WILL OF JACOB TEMPLIN

In the name of God Amen, I Jacob Templin, of the County of Giles and the State of Tennessee, being weak in body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same: Do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following � To wit:

First: After paying all my just debts, I do will and bequeath unto my daughter Mary twenty-five dollars.

Secondly: I do also give unto my dear beloved wife Margaret Templin, all the residue of my estate consisting of my land, horses, hogs, cattle, or any other property that may remain after my just debts are paid: To have and to hold during her natural life, and at her death to be equally divided amongst my children, and I hereby appoint my beloved wife, Margaret Templin and Reuben Freeman, my sole Executrix and Executor, of this my last will and Testament.

Hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of May in the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand Eight-hundred and Thirty-nine.
