Here's some information about the census images which might help you answer questions that visitors could ask (like "how do I find the page number I want?", "why are some page numbers missing?", etc.) The 1880 Giles County, TN, Census contains 761 pages (census images) in Enumeration Districts 099 through 118. In Enumeration District 113, there are two unnumbered pages (with big X's across each page) between pages 02 and 03. These two pages were also scanned and were assigned the page numbers of 113-02A and 113-02B. The name of each image file is the page number. (In the case of 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 census, the file name includes both the Enumeration District and the page number.)
