There is Susan McRoy aged 42 b. Va & Chesley McRoy aged 20 b. Tn enumerated
with Pleasant in 1850.  My guess is that she is Pleasant's sister-in-law
(his wife's sister), based on birthplace & date.
*In the 1870 Giles Co, Pulaski Twp. Pleasant is listed as a Contstable.
There is an 11 year old girl named Bettie Vaughan in this household in the
1870 census.  I'm not sure whose child she is.
