Mrs. Eudora Gilbert Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Eudora Gilbert, 76, widow of Dock Gilbert, whose death, following a protracted illness occurred about one o'clock Monday afternoon at her home at Prospect, were held at three o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Prospect Methodist Church by the Rev. J. E. Trotter, pastor. Burial was in the Prospect cemetery.

Mrs. Gilbert was a faithful member of the Baptist Church in which she was active until her health failed.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. E. L. Case, Mrs. J. H. Brazier, both of Prospect; Mrs. Smith Campbell, of Birmingham, Alabama; Mrs. Floyd Chambers, Decatur, Alabama; three sons, Bob Gilbert, Athens, Alabama; Russell Gilbert and Lyle Gilbert, both of Akron, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
