Obituary of
R.C. McCutchen

Mr. R.C. McCutchen was born on March 16, 1846, died May 26, 1936. Mr. McCutchen was born in Giles County. He served eight months in the Civil Was later going to Texas and spending almost a year, and coming back settled in Perry County. Later coming to Decatur County and spending the rest of his life. He was a member ot the Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a well known citizen.

His first marriage was to Viola Crawley, later to Fannie Young.

Funeral service was conducted by Rev. L. Garraway, Wednesday, May 27, at 8:30 o'clock. He was laid in rest in the Center cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Fannie McCutchen and their two children, Fred and Lula, by his first marriage three children, are living, Allen McCutchen, of Portageville, Mo., Jeff McCutchen, of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs Ruth Hogue, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a host of other relatives and friends.
