Obit of Mrs. Ruth Rainey.
Mrs. Ruth Louise Rainey, 86, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1993, at Athens
Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 18 at Spry
Chapel with Rev. Ray Tucker and Rev. Danny Pettus officiating. Burial will
be in Booth Chapel Cemetery in Minor Hill. Mrs. Rainey was a member of
Sardis Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Wilford Marbut,
Benton Harbor, Mich., and two step daughters, Opal Irene Tucker, Lexington,
AL., and Edith Luthene Burgess, Benton Harbor, Mich. Mrs. Ruth Rainey had
seventeen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and eighteen great, great
grandchildren.
