Autograph book of
Sarah Daisy Beasley

The following is the autograph book of Sarah Daisy Beasley (1877-1955), daughter of The Rev. Mebane Jesse Fendal Beasley of Aspen Hill, TN. and M.J.Booth.

At the time of this autograph book, she was living with her aunt and uncle, Eudora Marabia Beasley and William Anderson Butler of Aspen Hill, TN. The book measures 4" x 6" and has a hard ivory colored cover with embossed blue flowers. There are a 5 names that I just cant quite make out so I have given them my best guess and have put them in italics. My hope is someone will recognize them and contact me.

This book was given to her while visiting her aunt and uncle, W.P. and Molly Booth of Morgan, TX.

On the first page is the inscription:

"These little souvenirs possess not their greatest value
when first written; but as time, with scythe in hand, passes along
and we are left standing, we are not the same, but these lines remain.
Some to cheer the saddened by awakening slumbering memories
of better things; and others serving as guide-boards on
the road to eternity."
