To son JOHN, tract of land on which he resides with the sum of three hundred dollars. To sons JAMES and WILLIAM C., tract of land on which they reside to be equally divided between them. To wife & THOMAS, tract of land on which I now reside, to be THOMAS' at NANCY's death. To wife NANCY, my girl MARY, a slave. The remainder of my slaves to my children to be equally divided. BUTLER, ELIZABETH VASSER, made oath as dis-interested persons who witnessed and were present at the residence of SARAH HARWELL as she declared her will as follows: To SARAH CAROLINE MCKNIGHT, one new bed, one boy colt, being the only colt she had. To HARTWELL HARWELL, her old black cow. To her daughter SARAH, all the rest of her property. HARWELL, WESLEY.......Will written 1883; To SALLIE C. ABERNATHY's heirs, NETTIE and ERSKIN, a tract of land. To son THOMAS F. HARWELL tract of land joining the old homestead. To two daughters JENNIE P. & MARTHA C. HARWELL, the old homestead on the condition they & THOMAS remain together or if they marry, then a division to be valued by dis-interested people.
