Ulysses was born Nov. 3, 1876, Giles County
and died Died Sept. 27, 1952, Limestone Co., AL.
He lost an arm in a gin mill accident in Giles Co. as a young man. He went to Athens, AL and opened a huge hardware store called U. G. White Hardware that is still operated today by his grandson and great grandson, Herbert and David Aycock.
