Seated are Simpson William Chapman (b 3 June 1850 d
18 Jan 1929) and his wife Susan Jane Moore Chapman
(b 27 July 1855 d 24 Dec 1945) They were married in
Giles County 31 Dec 1875 and lived all their married
life in Giles County in the Pleasant Ridge community.
They are buried in the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist
Church Cemetery. Their four sons in the 1895 photo are
left to right:
